Interalia has launched a second version of its iProMOH advanced promotional on-hold music/message announcement system.
The iProMOH2 has an additional port and can form a digital announcer that can entertain and inform on-hold callers, and a public address-messaging device for broadcasting music and/or messages via an existing PA System.
The addition of a scheduler permits the pre-recording, scheduling and automatic playing of standard announcements. The facility, available in the iCAS software, will function for both the single and two port iProMOHs to play different music and messaging at any time of the day, and has the ability for timed announcements to then interrupt any pre-programmed messaging.
The iProMOH system uses pull-technology to request downloads from the host web-server when it needs updating. This server can be available on an internal LAN or the Internet. Messages can be downloaded weeks or months in advance, and then automatically played out. Since updates are carried out remotely, technical staff are not required at the location nor does it rely on a third party to insert a CD or tape.
The iProMOH is available as a one or two channel unit with up to 3 hours of message storage. The two-channel version can play an independent second message, controlled by its own play list.
The iCAS management software can be hosted on any Windows 2000 or XP workstation to act as a server. One host can update the same message(s) into one or any number of iProMOH units at the same time.
Interalia offers On-Hold companies a choice of either hosting the service on its own server, securely accessible over the Internet, or hosting the software themselves. On-Hold companies need only one copy to manage all of their customers.
