Supplier: Power Plate

More Power Plate details
INTENCITY is designed to challenge and test members fitness and endurance levels and provide the best workouts to support any exercise programme - Southgate Leisure Centre
Fusion Lifestyle, the highly experienced sports and leisure management brand is working with Power Plate to integrate vibration training into its high intensity fitness studios.

INTENCITY is designed to challenge and test members fitness and endurance levels and provide the best workouts to support any exercise programme.

Davide Ferreira, commercial key accounts sales manager at Power Plate says “The aim is to incorporate vibration training into the Fusion Lifestyle INTENCITY Studios by offering members a variety of applications including small group training programmes, experience days, and prepare and recover rooms.

With its small footprint and user oriented visual training guides, Fusion Lifestyle has already seen an increase in membership participation with Power Plate.”

Power Plate helps users prepare faster, perform better and recover quicker, making them feel better by stimulating natural reflexes, increasing muscle activation and improving circulation. Power Plate enhances any movement, simple or complex, which is typically performed on the ground.

Darren Anderson from Fusion Lifestyle says “We are constantly looking to evolve our customer experience and the latest introduction of additional Power Plate machines within our facilities ensures that our members are at the forefront. By offering unique Small Group Training classes (X, Zen, Strong, Burn and Thrive) on plates and putting an emphasis on the importance of preparation and recovery, we aim to increase our members performance potential and significantly reduce the risk of post workout injuries.”

The first Fusion Lifestyle club to launch Power Plate Small Group Training programmes and Prepare and Recover room is Hanworth Air Park Leisure Centre. The next phase of developments will be at Newcastle’s City Pool and Turkish Baths (opening in Q4) and Southgate Leisure Centre, where the Power Plate® pro5HP™ will be used to support their elite performance memberships.
