Viña Real Reserva

We all know what to expect from Rioja – a warming wine with ripe spicy summer fruit and a  complement of American oak. Viña Real Reserva takes it a step further, or really several steps. For this quality level they identify some of the oldest vineyards, selected from the Alavesa region  near Logroño.  A gentle style of Rioja reminiscent of a Burgundian classic, it is a blend of 90% Tempranillo complemented by Garnacha, Mazuelo and Graciano for depth and complexity finished off with 22 months ageing and 3 years in bottle.
