Koolpak, reported to be the UK's only manufacturer of instant cold packs, has launched Koolpak Sport to provide an immediate treatment for soft tissue injuries, strains, bumps and bruises.
The new product is a bag containing crystals which, when squeezed firmly and shaken, immediately reach a temperature of around freezing point, staying cool for approximately 20 to 25 minutes.
It can be applied instantly against painful muscles or joints and and is said to dramatically decrease injury recovery time as well as alleviating sport induced pain. Koolpak Sport is also ideal for reducing body temperature following a work out.
The packs are disposable, eliminating the risk of infection, and the crystals inside them are bio-degradable.
