Phytomer rolls out refreshed marine moisturiser and full-body anti-ageing ritual

Supplier: Phytomer

More Phytomer details
The treatment is available at Phytomer's three flagship spas in France
Sustainable marine spa brand Phytomer has launched the Hydra Original Moisturising Melting Cream.

Formulated with 97 per cent natural origin ingredients, the new lightweight cream is the refreshed version of Phytomer’s former Hydra Original Thirst Relief Melting Cream.

It’s designed to deeply moisturise skin both on the surface and on a deeper level using organic weaving algae, incorporated via an aqueous extract and an oil extract. The algae are complemented by two active ingredients to reinforce its effects; organic glasswort oil and natural oligofurcellarane.

The cream is scented with a floral and aquatic bouquet featuring rose, waterlily, amber and musk.

A new Phytomer spa ritual
Phytomer has also reformulated its anti-ageing Pioneer Treatment and introduced the brand new 90-minute Supreme Youth Pioneer Treatment (€175, US$192, £147).

“This new treatment showcases Phytomer’s skincare expertise and is the best way to celebrate our 50th anniversary,” said Mathilde Gédouin-Lagarde, Phytomer’s deputy GM, speaking exclusively to Spa Business.

“Its brilliant protocol combines the utmost relaxation with outstanding anti-ageing results, through the art of manual massage and the most advanced marine biotechnology.

“The experience demonstrates Phytomer at its best, both for clients and therapists."

The new full-body ritual inspired by Japanese Kobido massage begins with a remineralising back treatment using Self-Heating Marine Mud, followed by make-up removal, facial cleansing and a complete exfoliation of the face, with particular attention paid to the lips.

Next, therapists provide a whole-body cleanse and double-brush massage incorporating a Pure Pore Heating Mask.

30 minutes are then devoted to a plumping massage using Supreme Massage Nectar, which melts into an oil on contact with the skin. This massage, which covers the entire face and décolleté, is designed to visibly smooth the skin while providing absolute relaxation.

The final step of the treatment includes the application of two masks – The Supreme Youth Plasticizing Mask and the Youthful Lip Mask – followed by the application of the Reset Eye Fluid and the Youth and Glow Supreme Cream.
