The 10th annual Global Wellness Summit takes place in Tyrol, Austria this October 17 to 19.

The

theme, “Back to the Future,” reflects the conference’s 10th anniversary and the agenda will be

packed with speakers and panels exploring the future of spa and wellness and celebrating its long

history – with a sharp focus on how spa and wellness has developed throughout Europe over the

last century.

Illustrious economists and trend researchers will share deep, provocative insights into what’s

coming next and how it impacts the future of the spa and wellness economy.

Delegates will hear

from David Bosshart, managing director of European think tank, Gottlieb Duttweiler Institute;

Barbara Kolm, director of the Austrian Economics Center; Thierry Malleret, co-founder of the

predictive analysis resource, The Monthly Barometer; and The Future Hunters’ President & CEO

Edie Weiner.

Pioneers in medical wellness, including Henri Chenot, founder of the Chenot Group; Dr. Harald

Stossier, director of the Viva Mayr Medical Clinic, famed for its FX Mayr detox cure; and Dr.

Elke Benedetto-Reisch, medical director, Lanserhof Group, known for her approach to modern

Mayr medicine, will present.

And the next generation of wellness gurus will share their insights

into the future, including Irene Forte who will reveal how Rocco Forte Hotels is appealing to the

ever-influential millennial mindset.

Over its 10-year history, the Summit has consistently inspired delegates with its rich and diverse

content – and a plethora of networking opportunities with leaders from every sector of the

wellness economy: tourism, spa, education, beauty, fitness, nutrition, finance, environment,

medicine, architecture, workplace wellness, wellness communities and technology.
