More Core Health & Fitness details
Core Health & Fitness announced a new and exciting partnership with professional obstacle course race (OCR) athlete, Rea Kolbl. Kolbl is an impressive athlete with a variety of experience that ranges from OCR to competitive gymnastics in her native Slovenia.

Today, Kolbl is a professional OCR athlete, a member of the Spartan Pro team, a two-time World Champion in the 24-hour endurance OCR and is undefeated in any OCR race 30 miles or longer. This adventurous Slovenian came to North America to attend UC Berkeley in 2010 and quickly fell in love with the outdoors. After completing a master’s degree in engineering at Stanford, she moved to Boulder, Colorado to pursue her athletic career and has since stood on the podium over 50 times, winning over 30 races in a variety of mountain sports. Kolbl is currently getting ready for the Eco Challenge, a 400+ mile expedition adventure race set in Fiji sponsored by Amazon Prime and hosted by adventurist Bear Grylls.

Kolbl’s role as a spokesperson for Core Health & Fitness will be focused on content creation and contribution for the StairMaster brand and products, as well as promotional appearances at major trade events.

“Rea IS the StairMaster brand,” said Tim Hawkins, Core’s global vice president of sales and marketing. “We are so excited to work with someone who embodies and lives out our brand positioning every day, in everything she does.”

Kolbl said: “I am so excited to be joining the Core Health & Fitness family. On days when I train indoors, StairMaster is the brand I trust to help prepare me for my next race. StairMaster workouts are the workouts I love to hate.”

Kolbl will be debuting in the company’s launch of the new StairMaster 10G later this year.
