Low cost building management

Supplier: Trend Control Systems Ltd

More Trend Control Systems Ltd details
A new design in low cost building management user interfaces, the IQView, has been introduced by Trend Control Systems.

Using a high contrast, touch screen display, the unit can give full access to any building management system based on Trend IQ controllers, including the new IQ3xcite.

IQView comes in two versions. One has a black and white display and links directly to an IQ controller via RS232. The other is in colour and designed to connect to either an Ethernet or Trend network, whilst also offering the RS232 option.

Both have a backlit 1/4 VGA LCD screen and two types of enclosure are available so they can be mounted on the front of a control panel or on a wall.

The unit can be tailored to personnel-specific requirements, allowing – for instance – the access rights of certain staff to be limited to basic adjustments, whilst those of senior employees permit them to change any setting.

On a small system, a single IQView could serve as the sole operator interface. On a larger management system it could provide one or more secondary access points.
