The unmissable focal point of a new aviation-themed waterpark in Oregon, US is a real - retired - Boeing 747-100 featuring four waterslides custom designed by Whitewater West.
The Inner-Tube and Body waterslides descend from the plane's back exit doors, with
the most leisurely - Sonic Boom - being a 550ft-long translucent yellow slide, and the fastest - Nose Dive - a 350ft-long green slide, named for its steep descent.
Completing the quartet are Mach 1, a high-speed enclosed body slide, and Tail Spin, a single/double inner tube ride.
Inside the waterpark's 71,350sq ft (6,630sq m) indoor facility, guests will also discover an evergreen forest-themed AquaPlay AP1050 structure, featuring another unique customisation.
This is an 'almost-life-size' helicopter at 65 percent to scale, which dumps tons of water down from a huge tipping bucket.
The AP1050 has more than 80 other features, including dozens of interactive spray jets and water guns, four waterslides, net climbs and bridges, as well as pull ropes.
Part of the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum in McMinnville, Oregon, US, the Wings & Waves Waterpark opened on 6 June this year.
The attraction ties in to the educational focus of the Evergreen Aviation complex with its 'Life Needs Water' interactive display.
