Customers can open lockers using a membership card, wristband, key fob, or even NFC-enabled mobile phone

The new GAT Eco.Lock is an easy retrofit solution for fitness clubs, looking to upgrade their existing lockers to a Near-Field-Communication (NFC) electronic locker system. This battery-operated lock has identical dimensions to most card or coin locks, making it easy to retrofit and build into existing lockers.
Rather than using mechanical keys, GAT Eco.Lock works with NFC membership credentials that contain an embedded electronic chip. Credentials come in the form of a membership card, wristband, key fob, or even NFC-enabled mobile phone, and can be used not only as a locker key, but also as a medium for check-in, access, payment, and networked fitness.
With one membership credential, members can conveniently enjoy all NFC-enabled amenities in your club. No additional mechanical keys, pins, or cards required. Thanks to a clear status display and user feedback, GAT Eco.Lock is both easy and intuitive to use. But the benefits of GAT.ECO lock don’t stop at member convenience!
Club operators benefit as well. Key features include: the ability to limit members to one locker, the ability to require check-in before locker usage, easy replacement of lost locker keys (membership credentials), configuration for free or personal locker modes, as well as a complete lock history. Eliminating the problems of lost keys, coins, theft, and lack of proper management tools, the new GAT.ECO Lock empowers club operators to benefit from NFC locker management, all at an affordable price.
