Second generation of panoramic towers from Interlink

Supplier: Interlink LG Ltd

More Interlink LG Ltd details
France/UK-based water ride specialist Interlink is to add a range of second generation, fixed or transportable panoramic towers to its existing product portfolio.

The towers can have either a fixed concrete base or a steel base frame to avoid the need for concrete foundations, enabling the structures to be easily dismantled and transported if required.

They will feature double-storey rider capsules which will provide the unique opportunity for guests to be seated in the 60-seat top level while also allowing access to a glass floored lower level ‘Skywalk’ for those looking to add more excitement to the experience.

In a further development at Interlink, the company is to commence the installation of a two-lift log flume at a pier in the southern United States at the end of 2011.

Details of the venue of the turnkey project - due to open in the spring of 2012 - will be revealed later but the ride will be approximately 280m in length and will feature 6m and 12m drops.

Riders will travel in one of seven, five-seater boats.

The project comes on the back of the completion of several installations during 2011 in Europe, Scandinavia and Asia, along with the introduction during the year of a new mini flume ride, especially developed for the three to eight year old age group.
