Skiplex indoor ski training centres has opened a second site in the UK, offering ski novices and pros lessons.

The launch of the Woodley centre follows the first site opening in Chiswick.

The ski run is designed for beginners and advanced skiers and is designed to be a safe and warm environment to learn.

The slope operates like a running machine, using a squash court sized treadmill on which is a carpet like material is fixed, allowing up to three people to ski or snowboard at any one time, and six per hour.

The large moving track is operated by a handheld remote control, which can speed up or slow down the track and increase or reduce the elevation to accommodate beginners at a low elevation and slow track speed all the way to experts at a steep elevation and up to 25mph.

Skiplex also incorporates a two-way mirror to help skiers perfect their technique, along with intensive and personalised tuition from qualified instructors. All equipment is provided and no special clothing is needed.
