Headbones allows users to be more aware of their surroundings
An innovative technology that leaves the ear canals open so that users can hear what is happening around them while listening to music is central to a new headphone launch.
Damson Audio has unveiled ‘Headbones’, which uses the company’s ‘Incisor Diffusion Technology’ to harness the acoustic properties of the human skull and its natural ability to work in tandem with the inner ear.
The temporal bone (in front of the ear) sends audio vibrations to the inner ear, maximising the sensory experience of sound and music, while minimising the likelihood of hearing damage, according to the manufacturer.
Audio is connected by high quality Apt-X Bluetooth and Headbones is equipped with a microphone that allows the use of a paired phone hands free, keeping the user safe when on the move.
With an adjustable strap and folding arms allowing for easy storage, Headbones also comes with a protective case. It is equipped with a built in Li-Ion battery that can be recharged via a mini USB.
